'Conflict minerals' refers to materials such as tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold, extended to include Cobalt and Mica, originating in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its surrounding countries. Their sale of such materials may provide financial support for continued armed conflicts in this region, as well as hazardous working conditions. Encore Materials LLC attaches great importance to this problem and makes every effort to ensure that our supply chain does not support such regimes (through the purchase of such materials). Our supply chain instead deals with sustainable solutions as necessary regarding such conflict materials and minerals issues.
